Ljsciortino for Model Number LG WM1832CW OK - thought the drain hose too far down the drain pipe was siphoning up water back into the machine so I brought it up, but a few hours later there was water in the tub again. Took the drain hose out of the pipe altogether and turned the water off at the wall. By morning there was more water in the tub. Any suggestions? One friend suggested perhaps the wall valves are still allowing water to enter the hoses (old house) and the intake valves are failing to stop it. Could it be anything else? This is getting old!
Answer Hello ljsciortino. Remove the hose from the shut off in the wall and see if the shut offs are not working properly. If so, you will need to see which one is not turning off, and that will be the valve you will need to replace. Hope this helps. Read More...
