Gary P for Model Number wm2487hwm My LG washer is interrupted by a symbol like an upside down F in front of an E. It used to do it once in awhile but now I cannot get it to finish a load. It can happen at various stages of the load, (e.g. filling, washing, rinsing etc.). I service tech once looked at it and recommended a new control board. I called one of your reps. and a water inlet valve was recommended. I would like confirmation on one of these recommendations of perhaps a new recommendation please.
Answer Gary, This issue would be caused by a faulty thermistor. The error code that it is giving is a te error code which indicates a heating error and is showing that the thermistor is bad.
