Danc for Model Number WM2487HWMA Our washer is several years old, maybe 5, not really sure, however recently we have noticed soap and bleach left in the dispenser cup. There is no blockage of any sort. It’s basically the water did not fill up the dispenser cups for the liquids to be dispensed or the water did not run long enough to clear the cups. For example the main soap cup would be full to the top with water and about 70% of the liquid soap. This has occurred 3 or 4 items with the soap and once with the bleach. It’s sporadic in nature. I have cleaned the inlet screens and checked machine level, water pressure, etc. and I am about 95% confident it’s a faulty cold water inlet valve not opening or not fully opening, could be the hot water valve, however it could be the main control board not signaling the valves to open. I have never seen any error codes. Since it’s not a constant problem using a volt meter to check for power does not help. Is there any way to isolate the root cause? Or is this a common enough issue that you could recommend which of these parts to replace?
Answer Hello Dan. That's hard to do with it not happening all the time. In most cases, it is the cold water valve failing on the units. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, September 19, 2014
