Ken for Model Number RF268ACBP/XAA

I tried to replace the water filter in my Samsung refrigerator today. I'm using Waterdrop Model WD-F11B which is their replacement for the Samsung DA29-00003G. I've never had this problem before when replacing filters, but the one I'm trying to remove (same Waterdrop number) will not pull out of the holder. I can turn it to the left to unlock it, and it starts to drop very slightly (like maybe 1/8 of an inch or less), but I can't get it to pull down at all. I'm afraid I'm going to damage the filter housing if I pull too hard. Before I call a service tech to come check it out, I thought I'd ask if you have any genius ideas about how to get it unstuck. I've tried turning of the water supply and pressing the water paddle in at the front of the unit. But, pushing the paddle in after the water is turned off doesn't seem to release any water or pressure. I've tried slightly wiggling it as I'm turning it to the Unlock location, but to no avail. And, I've pulled down pretty hard...without pulling so hard as to damage the filter receptacle. Nothing seems to work. Do you have any suggestions? I've had this refrigerator for 13 years, and I've replaced the water filter twice every year, but I've never had this problem before. If I can't get it out on my own, I'll probably need to call a service tech, and I'm curious how you would suggest finding a solid, reliable, cost-efficient tech here in the Johns Creek, GA (suburb of Atlanta) area. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
