Justin for Model Number RFG297AAPN/XAA Had this unit given to us. Previous owner said ice maker hardly ever worked for them so they just bought ice. I plugged it in and hooked it up and it made ice one time and stopped. Pulled it apart and it had a cube froze to the little flipper things. Thawed it out and re inserted it and added New filter, good water flow through water spout on door, Ice maker clean and I held the reset button for 5+ seconds, still no ice. Do I just need a new ice maker? I don't want to just throw parts at it. Thanks!
Answer Hello Justin. Yes, if the temp is correct, you will need to order and replace the icemaker in the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, June 30, 2016
