Tim, While the water valve could be faulty and causing the icemaker to no make ice, you will want to check the icemaker itself. First check to see if there is ice that is in the icemaker that has not ejected. If there is then there is a test button on the side of the icemaker, push this and hold it until the icemaker starts. It is possible that the issue could be a faulty motor on the icemaker a faulty heater on the icemaker mold or a bad control board not turning the heater on.
