Scott for Model Number LG LDS5040ST I bought an LG mesh filter assembly, diverter motor assembly, and pump gasket and received them yesterday. I ordered these because the dishes were not cleaning properly and water was not going through the upper and middle wash arms. I installed all 3 parts and now I'm getting the TE error and the dishwasher won't run at all. I had previously gotten this error (maybe 5 or 6 times over the last few months) but the dishwasher would work if I shut the power for 30 seconds and then turned it back on. This error can be the thermistor, for which I'd need to purchase the heater assembly. I can do that and am comfortable installing it. But it is my understanding that the TE error could mean some other things, too. I just don't want to buy a $90 part (in addition to the other parts I bought) and still not have a functioning dishwasher. What is your recommendation?
Answer It is likely just a faulty thermistor and it would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, June 17, 2023
