A lint filter or lint trap prevents clogging of the dryer vent. When a garment is tumbling around in the dryer, the high heat combined with agitation can lead to fiber shedding. The lint filter captures the fibers and prevents them from blocking the dryer vent hose. If there is too much accumulation already, the excess fibers may not stay in the filter and could flow into the hose. Installing a brand-new lint filter can solve this problem. It can promote better energy consumption, faster drying, proper airflow, and reduced fire risk. Replacement is simple and straightforward and no tools are needed. Open the dryer and access the lint filter housing. Open the cover and slide the old filter out. Insert the replacement. This SpeedQueen 61376P Lint Filter is a genuine replacement part that will work with dryers made by Amana, Kenmore, SpeedQueen, and Caloric. It has a screen and a plastic frame. This OEM SpeedQueen lint filter is sold individually. A gas valve coil kit is available but sold separately.

Answer

Kevin, the [3281059] and the revised replacement part [131390300] Lint Filter(s) have been discontinued by the manufacturer. The manufacturer no longer sells the part. We can no longer get it from any of our suppliers. There is no substitute for the part available to us, and we don't know of any other source for the part. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it. Try eBay, Amazon or similar sites. Search by using the manufacturers part number. Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model, or useable part for your machine. Thanks,
