Rick for Model Number DG512 I got my dryer second hand. The plate says it is for natural gas, but there is a sticker near the gas valve saying it has been converted to LP, but I am not sure that it hasn't been converted back again. I am hooking it up to natural gas. How can I tell by inspecting the parts (not trusting the sticker) which it is set up for now so I can figure out if I need this kit ?
Answer Hello Rick! On the regulator there is a orifice that can be flipped for either natural gas or liquid propane. A visual inspection of this part will show what the unit is set for. I hope this info helps! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 24, 2011
