Brian for Model Number mav7600aww The washer has been making a weird noise for about 2 weeks.Today I discovered a water leak between the tub and transmission. I know I need a seal. My question: When the machine is off, shouldn't I be able to turn the tub freely? Mine is tight and won't budge at all. Is this likely just a bearing? Thanks.
Answer Hi Brian. You might have a leak at the lower tub, by the spin bearing assembly.The tub seal/ bearing assembly is a 2-part kit. The tub seal assembly is W10219156. The bearing assembly is part # W10219156. When you un hook the belt , the tub should turn freely in one direction from turning the bottom clutch pulley. Thank- you. Read More...
