Hello Bob, I'm sorry but the belt is designed to slip upon start-up on this design. This allows time for the water to drain before getting to top speed, which would cause the centrifugal force to make the water "jump" the tub, putting water in the floor. The issue is most likely a seizing spin bearing. This would require both the replacement of the tub bearing repair kit 6-2040130 and the mounting stem repair kit 6-2095720.
