Graham for Model Number MAV6457AWW I had a noisy spin cycle especially on high. I have replaced the belt, water pump and thrust bearing. When changing I checked the shaft and it did not have any play on it but wasn't perfectly smooth rotating. Its still noisy, so how do I know which other bearing is gone, the lower bearing assembly or the tub bearing? I can probably replace the lower assembly by taking off the brake without removing the tub and see if that fixes it or I can just go and pull the tub out and replace both? Thanks
Answer Hello Graham, This is most likely the upper bearing since it is the one most likely to have the grease washed out of it by a weaping of wash water from the tub seal should it begin to leak slowly as is common. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 17, 2018
