Robert, it would be recommended that the brake assembly is inspected to identify if the snubber ring WP21002026 has broken down and is allowing the brake to grind on the drum. The agitator would also need to be checked to identify if there is debris underneath it. If the ring is good and there is not debris under the agitator, the grinding would likely be coming from the transmission 35-6615.
