Steve for Model Number WTW4950XW2 When a load is first dumped in the washer and started, it makes a loud grinding noise during its load sensing cycle. When i pulled the belt assembly off , i found the teeth on the cam to be very worn. when i pushed the cam and compressed the spring it seemed to be ok. could it be the cam teeth making the grinding noise or could it be the shift actuator?
Answer Steve, If the teeth of the cam are worn then the issue would be with the cam. You would want to replace cam part number W10721967. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, December 17, 2014
