Jr model 8MWTW1715CW0 this unit has a splutch that seems to be in good condition goes through all the cycles with no problem, but will not agitate. Spin cycle also works fine. Is the circuit board not sending the signal to agitate? Or does it have a bad actuator? You can feel a slipping between the drum and the pulley, I assume the transmission takes care of that part. Also when I try and look up this model I cannot find it.
Answer JR, unfortunately the model number provided is not showing up in the manufacturers database. However, the shift actuator can be tested for resistance and the resistance value of the shifter should be between 2 to 3.5 kOhms. If it has the proper resistance, then you will want to test for voltage going to the shifter to ensure the correct voltage is going to the shifter assembly. Read More...
