Jr I'm not sure, but doesn't the actuator also turn on the spin cycle? Because the spin cycle works fine. So if it turns on the spin cycle but it does not agitate, the problem would not be the actuator, or do I have the wrong concept? I think the actuator moves the arm the activates the clutch and then allows it to spin. The spin cycle is working fine. But it will not agitate in the wash cycle. Please correct my thinking.
Answer Hello JR, the control board has to run the actuator to the correct position first ,either spin or agitation, before it will send power to the motor. The tech sheet was included with your washer, you would want to run the test mode and check for any fault codes first. If you need further help please include the model number and repost your question.
