Ellen for Model Number 110. 21102011 My top loading washer makes a back and forth scraping sound when it agitates only. I know it is coming from when the pulley is moving. The belt seems to shift a little because we had to replace it because it got caught in the plastic cover and frayed. The bolt on the pulley is tight. What can be causing the noise?
Answer Ellen, I would recommend replacing the splutch cam kit, some of the gears may be worn or something may be broke.
