Answer Hello Paul, there are a number of possible problems for this,your washer came with a Tech sheet, it is located on the inside behind the front cabinet panel near the top in a plastic bag, run the Fault code display mode an see what fault code it gives, you can also run a number of component and function tests to determine the cause,if you are not sure of what the code refers to repost your question with the code.
