Jose for Model Number WTW5500XW2 Washer machine, everything works on it, the only problem that I got with it is when starts spinning the water out is making a squeaking noise for about three seconds and it quits. Could it be the splutch cam kit??? I took the splutch out and cleaned it. I put a little bit of grease and put it back together the squeaking noise went away for about a week and now start doing it again need help, please.
Answer Jose', Yes the " making a squeaking noise for about three seconds and it quits" could be and most likely is the W10721967 Splutch assembly "slipping" and not engaging properly causing the noise. You will also want to check the WPW10006355 Shift Actuator for proper movement and that the shift arm and shift ring on the splutch are properly engaged. Read More...
