Sean for Model Number amana NTW4700YQ1 Hello, after the washer fills and agitates there is a loud chirp plastic grinding noise. I bypassed the lock and everything looks normal inside. If you can open this link this is the sound https://streamable.com/5wyy5d I don't know if it's the splutch or a bad bearing. I'm tearing my hair out. Everything else runs normally, maybe I need new springs as well the drum can be moved back and forth by hand unless thats normal. Thank you for your help
Answer Sean, Couple things to check. Remove the wash plate and make sure the teeth on the inside are not rounded off or damaged. If they look gooed replace the splutch.
