Wpark for Model Number WTW4800XQ0 Pulley on this washer keeps falling down. Does the nut need to be tighter with a lock washer or could it be something else?
Answer Hello Wpark. In order to save a repeat call, the technician should always replace the Splutch Pulley, Pulley Nut, and Drive Belt. The technician should also inspect the teeth on the splutch assembly for wear/damage and belt guard for damage, and replace if necessary. It is not necessary to replace the entire gear case assembly. Order replacement parts by model number. Apply a coating of medium strength thread lock to the threads on the shaft as well. Read More...
