J. Thomas for Model Number wtw4800xq1 I have a whirlpool top-load washer, model wtw4800xq1, it is making a loud noise when its in the middle of a cycle. The agitator is spinning, what is causing this? Ive read about a drum bearing bad, does this sound correct and do you sell that bearing?
Answer J., It doesn't sound like a tub bearing issue. It would make noise in the spin cycle, where that the issue. In your style washer, the issue is more likely to the actuator/shifter WPW10006355 loosing it's position or the "splutch" cam kit W10721967 slipping and trying to drive the gear case and spin basket at the same time.
