Debra Young for Model Number Kenmore washer HE5t My washer was on the clean cycle when I pushed the stop button. The washer stopped and never restarted or resumed function. The washer is stuck on “ int “ . If you push the start button the timer will start to count down without performing any functions. I have tried everything but not her. I even paid a repairman who had no idea what to do and tried to look it up on google and utube. He finally gave up and told me to order a new main control board.
Answer Debra, If the unit will not progress from the interrupted state and resume operation then this would most likely be a faulty main board on the unit. You should try to let it run the rest of the time down since it is counting down and then see if it will start a cycle. If it still will not then the board will be the most likely cause. Read More...
