Kenny W. for Model Number NFW7200TW My washer is getting the "nd" error code. I took apart the hoses before and after the drain pump but neither were clogged. In the service mode, the pump drain will only come on about 1 in every 10 attempts. I tested the voltage coming from CN10 (Pin 6) and it when it sends 120v the pump motor DOES run. But that only happens about 1 in every 10 attempts also. The other attempts it spikes voltage for about 1 second and then returns to about 2 volts (the normal voltage while the pump is off). So the pump does appear to run when the votage is present. It seems to point to the control board but I notice that it looks like the pump motor is filled with water. Shouldn't the impeller have a seal behind it? Do you think it is the control board or pump motor? Or possibly both?
Answer Hello Kenny. The seal has gone bad in the pump and shorted the control. It sounds like the pump and control will need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 5, 2013
