Jay for Model Number ED2VEHXTQ01 Refrigerator and freezer both work fine for a while until freezer frosts over. Doesn't appear to be defrosting on its own. I replaced the thermostat in the freezer still same problem. Should I replace the control board next? Thanks
Answer Hello Jay. If the defrost thermostat is new, you will want to check and see if the heater is good. It should read closed for continuity. If it is good, then you will need to replace the board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
