Tim J for Model Number ED5FHEXNS00 MY REFRIG AND FREEZER KEEP TURNING OFF ONCE A WEEK AND WE DONT REALIZE UNTIL THE FREEZER IS COMPLETLY THAWED OUT. IT EVENTUALLY COMES BACK ON AND WILL WORK FOR A WHILE.. WE HAVE JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT IF YOU HIT THE AREA WHERE PART NUMBER AP4981918 IS IT WILL COME BACK ON. PLEASE HELP!!!
Answer Tim, your description would indicate a loose connection or a problem with the ADC Board WPW10366605 located in the fridge control panel assembly. When you "hit" the panel in that area, you cause the wire or contact to close and it starts and runs the compressor . Thanks and Good Luck. Read More...
