Janie for Model Number asd2522wrb06 I have an Amana side-by-side fridge/freezer. Recently the freezer has been developing frost around the door area and the fridge is not cooling properly. You help desk suggested that the control board might need replacing, but suggested that I ask the expert since I would be spending about $170 for that board. Any help, suggestions, recommendations are appreciated.
Answer Janie, If you are developing frost around the door area then you would want to check the door seal to make sure that it is sealing tightly. You will also want to check your supply and return air ducts to make sure that they are not clogged with ice. This can happen if there is an air leak around the door seal. Read More...
