Mario F for Model Number ED2HAXSB04 How do you test the automatic electronic timer to check if it good, and where is this blinking ligth at that tell you to change the filter, once you know the timer is good, how do you test the heater and the defrost disk, without disassembling the freezer to ohm out the parts.
Answer Mario, If you are having a defrost system failure then you will need to remove the rear cover in the freezer compartment to test the heater and thermostat. If either do not have continuity then it would need to be replaced. If they both have continuity then you would need to replace the defrost control. Read More...
