Answer Hello Pete, It sounds as though the unit is not in a climate controlled atmosphere. Refrigerators are designed to operate at their most efficient level when in a climate that is from 70° to 75°F. If the hot coils are in a hot atmosphere, they cannot dissipate the heat removed from the unit back into the room. This adversely affects the temperature of the interior of the unit. Read More...
