Bonnie for Model Number MH2175XST-4 Our microwave door has cracked at the bottom, almost in the middle of the door. WE don't know why this has occurred, but my hubby's theory is that the heat from the stove has caused it. It is only 5 years old. Have you heard of this happening with the mic doors? Anyway, do we replace the whole door or just the frame? Nothing is wrong with the window or the handle. Will my hubby who is very mechanical be able to replace the door? It appears all we need to do is unhinge the old one and put on the new one. Our model is bisque in color.
Answer Hello Bonnie! The frame is not available separate from the door assembly, part number 8206397. You'll need to remove the upper left door hinge screw and lift the door off the microwave cabinet to remove the door from the unit. Install the door in reverse order. Hope this helps you, thanks.
