Arnie for Model Number KSCS25INSS01 The contractor for KitchenAid repairs checked my fridge and said that the fan motor was bad. He said the fridge can no longer be repaired and we should buy a new one, since there were no more replacement parts available. The kit on your website is two-wire and there is a link to a four-wire version (which is what the fridge has). However, when I checked the specs on the picture of the four-wire version, it was saying the motor is rated 115 v. The one that was originally in the fridge is 12 vdc - Panasonic UDQT22WP1. Is this really a hopeless case, or is a replacement part available?
Answer Arnie, According to the manufacturer and the tech sheet for this unit the Evaporator fan motor W11671461 which is located in the Freezer compartment would be 12 vdc. The condenser fan motor located in the back of the unit is showing as being a 120 vac fan motor per tech sheet and the manufacturer and would be part number W10124096. Read More...
