Badams9349 for Model Number MSD2756GEW For the past few months the side by side Maytag has been making a, ZZZZZZZZ sound every few days. The sound is loud enough to be heard when the unit is all shut up. However there were no issues. When it would make this sound I would try to track it down to it location. It was coming from the upper right corner under the control plate. In the very corner. As I think I have learned tonight this is the area where the Adaptive Defrost control is. Today there is no ZZZZZZZ sound but the fresh food side is warm, freezer is cold. My thought is the ADC has failed, and the coils are frosting over. Thus the warm side. My question is does it seem that I am on the right track? Would it be normal for the board to make a ZZZZZZ sound as it was in its last months?
