Bob for Model Number JCD2389DTB Recently the Refrigerator side has started to increase in temperature, freezer stays constant. I then manually defrost the freezer and this seems to fix problem for 5 to 8 days, then the temp starts increasing again in the refrigerator. I watched the video on replacing the Defrost Control Board. Sounds like this might fix it. Any other thoughts? Thanks Bob
Answer Bob, You will want to test the defrost heater and defrost thermostat to make sure that they have continuity. If there is no continuity then the part will need to be replaced and if there is continuity then the control board would be the issue. Read More...
