Jack H. for Model Number MZD2766GEB My Maytag freezer coils in MZD2766GEB was freezing up and the refridgerator side wasn't cooling anymore. I replaced the defroster board, PS2061226, and thawed out the freezer. It's cooling now but the coils in the freezer are frosting up again. Is some frost on the coils normal or should they stay frost free? I left the back panel that covers the coils off so I can check it visually. Could this be causing it to frost up? Please help, thanks.
Answer Hello Jack, It is normal to see some frost, but it should not clogged and freeze over the coils. The back cover needs to be on so the air flow works properly, this will help keep the frost down on the coils as well. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, June 28, 2012
