Carol for Model Number MZD2766GE When I take off the back panel in the freeze there is ice all over the coils. What is causing that? Also the tempture in the frig is around 40.
Answer Carol, This is caused by a defrost failure. You will want to do a continuity test on the defrost heater and thermostat assembly WP61006199. If there is no continuity then you will need to replace the defrost and heater assembly. If there is continuity then you would need to replace the defrost control board 61005988. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
