Sue for Model Number ED5FHEXNQ00 I have received the ice dispenser and water dispenser handles for my refrigerator. I cannot remove the panel to install the parts. How do I open the panel on the front of the frig. It appears to be attached in 4 corners I cannot see anywhere to get to the screws to open. I pulled down on two knobs and the top seems to detached but it is still attached at the bottom and will not come out.
Answer Hello Sue. There is no need to remove the handles on the unit. You will need to unsnap the cover off the dispenser. To remove the cover, first remove the drip tray in the dispenser then look at the bottom part of the cover and there will be 2 slots. You use a flat blade screwdriver to slide into the opening and pry out on the cover. Once the cover is loose just lift off. Now you can access and replace the levers. Read More...
