Jeanette B. for Model Number gew9200lw1 I own Whirlpool Duet model GEW9200LW1. I believe when we bought it the installer reversed the door so that we could stack the dryer on top of the washer. The hinge is now on the LEFT, the handle on the RIGHT. (Is that in fact the reversed position or the original factory position ?) I'm now replacing my washer (not stacking) so I want the dryer door to open the other way, hinge on the RIGHT. I watched your video www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5I7IghMuvE several times and it does exactly what I want to do... putting the hinge on the right. But what confuses me is that, to my eye, the old and new pieces in the video look identical to one another, and identical to the pieces currently on my dryer. Is the reversal kit 8530070 really designed to put the hinge on the RIGHT as shown in the video ? Or do I really need to order the original parts from the door parts list namely ... 7. Handle (left) 8529932 15. Filler Handle (left) 8528289 16. Cover-hinge (right) 8528293 -- which I can't find on any websites Please un-confuse me ! Thanks !
