James R for Model Number whirlpool electric range RF365PXGN0 As shown on your website, take a look at the close-up views of the looped terminal ends on both the 6" and 8" replacement burner elements. There is a small, steel bracket which keeps the terminal ends separated and in place. On the 6" element (part # WP660532), the weld is broken loose on the bracket which allows one element terminal to move about. On the 8" element (part # WP660533), the weld is intact. I have found this to be the case on the old 6" elements I'm replacing, and the new replacements as well. I would venture to say that this broken weld is a Whirlpool manufacturing defect, and the nationwide supply of these 6" elements would no doubt evidence the same broken weld. My questions: Have you noticed this in your own inventory? And do you believe it presents any problem to use them regardless of the weld issue?
Answer James, With this issue, we are not showing any information on the weld breaking on the part. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 6, 2018
