Answer Sharon, To replace the filter head, you will first need to pull out the unit and turn off the water supply. Disconnect the tubing that goes from the filter to the water valve and water supply lines. You will then remove the plate over the filter lines where they enter the cabinet. Go to the front of the unit and lower the cover of the filter and where it is hinged just pull to one side to release the cover and slide the opposite direction to remove the cover. Once this is done, the filter head is held in by clips that you would just pull the head out of the clips and pull the tubing and all out of the refrigerator and install the new one.
