Mary for Model Number jgbp36selss ge stove When you turn the oven on 300°F the igniter comes on but goes out while heating up. It then comes back on. The igniter does not stay on. Should the igniter stay on all the time during cooking?
Answer Hello Mary, The oven will cycle the burner on and off as heat is needed to maintain an "average" temperature. This is normal as long as the unit is reaching temperature.
