Manny C. for Model Number GAK28HG-OD or 0D The electric igniter works only by turning on one specific burner. Regardless of which burner we want to use we have to turn that burner on. Then turn that off when the one we want lights. The stove is a Glenwood 36" wide 4 burner with grill in the middle.
Answer Hi Manny. On each of the surface switches there are spark switches on the shaft. When you turn on the burner valve, the switch closes the 2 wires connected to the switch and sends the voltage to the spark module to then send the voltage for the corresponding igniter to spark.
