Ritch for Model Number MDE6800AYW I have replaced the thermal fuse, affixed to the heating element housing, once already. It was only a few weeks ago. Had previously cleaned all excess lint from dryer and vent system to ensure no blockage. What could have caused thermal fuse to blow again?
Answer Hello Ritch. Either a clogged vent, grounded heater, or bad relay on the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
