Rod for Model Number MDE5500AYQ Dryer is running but not heating. Tested continuity on the following: Thermal Fuse - 0 ohms, Hi Limit Thermostat - 0 ohms, Heating Element - 20 ohms. I think this is all OK. Wires and terminals all look good. Is there anything else I should check? I reassembled but it still won't heat.
Answer Hello Rod. Make sure the unit has 240 coming to it and is not set to air fluff. If good, then trace the power from the heater and see where your losing voltage at. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
