Cody for Model Number WTW4800XQ0 Washer wont spin out all the way so I tipped it over and there is grease or oil all over the belt and i am guessing the reason its not spinning cloths dry is the belt is slipping. I'm guessing a seal on the gearcase is leaking. Do I have to replace it or can I just replace the belt and clean up the oil so it stops slipping? I know eventually the gearcase could go bad but looking for a quick fix or am I better off replacing gear case, splutch, and belt.
Answer Cody, It would be recommended to replace the gearcase if the oil has leaked out because there may still be oil in it and could still leak and cause the same issue. he splutch should not need changed unless damaged. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 3, 2017
