Charlotte B for Model Number EDJHAXTO01 I purchased this refrigerator from Best Buy and must be a model made just for them because I can't find it as a good model number anywhere. I need the complete ice bin in the freezer door. The ice freezes together and will not dispense. We have changed the door kit with new design and flapper to close faster and tighter. But before that I tried thawing the ice to get the bucket off with a hair dryer. I think I must have warped something because it still freezes after replacing that kit. As in another question, my button to release never worked good from the beginning and sure it is broke now so I need to replace everything to the chute and maybe the chute too. Please advise the correct part number(s) to order. Thank you
Answer Charlotte, Unfortunately the chute cannot be replaced separate from the freezer door. The complete ice bin for this unit would be part number WP2317251. The reason the model would not come up would be it is missing a number and the O at the end should be a Q. The model that I looked up was ED5JHAXTQ01. Read More...
