Megan for Model Number ED5HHAXV002 We had to remove the dispensing base from our in door ice dispenser and now we can't get it back on. Is there a trick to it? The button on the side moves and everything seems to line up but it won't snap down.
Answer Megan, If the bin was a little difficult to get off then it sounds like the shaft may have shifted up when removing the bin. You can take the 2 screws out that hold the shaft in place and remove the shaft. Turn the shaft over and put the top into the hole and tap with a hammer on the shaft to slide the bushing down slightly, you will then check to see if it the bin is seating properly. Read More...
