Ernie V. for Model Number KSSP42QTS00 I noticed recently that my ice dispenser would not dispense ice. I could hear the motor, but nothing was coming out. My wife said all the ice is stuck together and frozen so I took the ice out and cleaned the ice dispenser. What is causing the ice to freeze together? The motor seems to be OK, but I'm not sure. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
Answer Hello Ernie, several causes for this, check the ice maker is not overfilling dripping water into the ice cube bin, check the ice chute flapper is fully closing and sealing, check for any pinched wires at the bottom of the freezer door at the hinge.
