Harry W. for Model Number lsb6500pw3 My washer has the 3.2 cu.ft wash basket. I want to be able to wash bigger loads, bigger than before to save time. So, I want to increase the basket size by installing a larger tub. Can I replace and put Whirlpool's (4.0 cu.ft. inner basket) manufacturer's p/n (W10389328) into my LSB6500PW3 washer? The outer tub p/n 63849 is the same size for all of Whirlpool's large 3.0 to super size plus 4.0 capacity (agitator-type) washers.
Answer Hi Harry. It is not advised because the electrical pressure switch, wiring , and timmer (cycles) are not set for your larger basket filling,and rinse and wash times.
