Cher for Model Number WMH3205XVS1 My cook light for my microwave burned out when I went to replace it the blub has seperated from the screw in base. How do I replace the blub?
Answer Cher, Make sure you unplug the power cord or remove power to the microwave, first. Insert a small pair of needle nose pliers into the center of the remaining bulb base. Spread the pliers so the points grasp the inside of the base and turn the pliers counter clockwise, until the bulb base is backed out enough to grasp the base and remove the remainder of the base(you will want to wear gloves for that step). When you install the new bulb, you may want to apply a thin coat of dielectric grease to the bulb base, it will help to keep the base from seizing to the socket. Read More...
