Beth for Model Number MMV1153WW0 Does a technician have to replace the magnetron? If not, is it a hard job to do or are we just as well off to replace the microwave?
Answer Hello Beth. I don't see why you couldn't do it yourself. As long as you pay attention to the dis-assembly and can re-assemble as it came apart. It really isn't that hard to change the magnetron W10754299. The hardest thing about it is if it's an over-the-range microwave. Removal and re-installation is the worst part of the job. Just put a few thick towels on the range and remember that the over-the-range microwave removal and re-installation is considered a two man job to prevent back injuries. Hope this was helpful and have a great day! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 12, 2012
